1-Badshahi Mosque:

Badshahi Mosque is a historical and beautifully designed mosque. It was constructed in Mughal era. And situated in Lahore the capital of Punjab at the west of Lahore. It is widely consider as an ionic citadel place of Lahore. It has capacity of 100,000 people to offer prayer in this mosque at a time.

Its exact address is Walled City of Lahore, Punjab. It has total 8 minarets. Four are small and four are heighted minarets. Material used in it is marble. Architecture of this mosque is Nawab Zain Yar Jang Bahadur.

It is made or designed by Islamic architecture, Mughal architecture and Indo-Islamic architecture. It was ordered to build by Aurangzeb. The construction was overseen by the governor of Lahore, Muzaffar Hussain known as Fidai Khan Koka. It was started in 1671 and opened in 1673.

3-Minar-e-Pakistan:

Minar-e-Pakistan is a national monument of Pakistan. It’s also named as Grand Iqbal Park. It is located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is the place where resolution was passed in 23 March 1940. Under the struggle of Quaid-e-Azam. In this great tombstone it was announced to build Minar. Construction was started in 1960 and it was completed in 1968.

It took eight years to accomplish it. It was opened in 21 October 1968. Its height is 70m. And it is a combination of Islamic and Pakistani culture. The architectecture of it was Nasreddin Murat-Khan. The total height of the Minar-e-Pakistan is approximately 92 m above the ground. And its base is about 8 m and the unfolding petals are 9 m high. It is said that the symbolism of Crescent is for the bright future and five corners of the Star are for five pillars of Islam that is, Tawheed, Salah (Prayer), Fasting, Zakat and Hajj.
