Islamabad is one of the most beautiful and attractive cities in Pakistan. Islamabad is the capital of our country and it is federally administrated. It was built in 1960 to make it capital in the replacement of Karachi.

It is well-known and liked by everyone because of its standard in safety, abundant greenery and the living standard. Because of this reason, most people want to live in Islamabad due to highly paid plots then people prefer to visit in Islamabad.

1 – Faisal Mosque:

Faisal Mosque is located in Islamabad. If you Know Islamabad, You must know about the Faisal Mosque. And the largest mosque of the capital. Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan is the sixth largest mosque in the world with a covered area of 5000 square meter.it is decorated and built by the Islamic architecture, Contemporary architecture. A massive amount of worshipers in its main prayer hall can offer prayer easily.

It was established in 1986. Shah Faisal Mosque is also considered as the National Mosque of Pakistan. One of the most beautiful mosques ever created in Pakistan. The infrastructure is amazingly built, all the things are taken into account and the location is just splendid. The material is as fine as one could imagine. The mosque is vast covering a huge area and showing off its perfection. One could offer prayer, be amazed by its largely built structure.

It is neat and clean, and a Holy place for the Muslims to visit. Because of the late King Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz of Saudi Arabia, this mosque was named Shah Faisal Mosque who propound to build a national mosque in Islamabad in his visit in 1966. 130 million Saudi Riyals donation for the mosque was donated by the government of Saudi Arabia.

2 – Pakistan Monument:

The Pakistan Monument patrimony museum and National Monument located on the western Shakarparian Hills in Islamabad, Pakistan. Those people who sacrifice their today for our better tomorrow this Monument was built for them. And to symbolize the unity of our people. It was opened on 23 March 2007.

Architectural Design is splendid and unique. Motives and patterns are beautifully carved on panels. Figures are engraved on each panel which depicts the historical significance and background of Pakistan movement. Many National famous artists took part in the making of the panels. This place is clean. Variety of food is available in a canteen located near the place.

The evening here is very peaceful and the sunset is worth watching. The four leaves of the flower Pakistan with its martyrs commemorated at the centre. The monument is a piece of art displacing stories of the struggle Pakistanis have made to make this Pakistan a blessed land. Must-see the museum. And at sunsets, there is a flag ceremony that takes place on the monument.

3 – Pir Sohawa:

Pir Sohawa is a very beautiful and a clean and place. It is located at the very top of the Margalla hills. Approximately 17 km above from Islamabad. It is now rapidly getting famous and become a place for tourist’s attraction. There is also a tomb. Where people like to go to tomb. It at the top and then go down there is Monal Restaurant and Daman-e-Koh. Daman-e-Koh is a visiting place and is located in the middle of the Margalla hills.

Daman-e-Koh is above from Islamabad up to 500ft. it’s a very beautiful place from where one can see the view of whole Islamabad City. The green hilly point and it is free from city pollution. Daman-e-Koh is covered with forest. Many important of species of plants are found here. It has great biological value. Monkeys and other animal’s species are also found here.

There are also tracks for walkers in the forest too. The view at night is amazing. And above from Daman-e-Koh and below the Pir Sohawa there is a very famous restaurant named as Monal Restaurant.

4 – Lake View Park:

Lake View Park is a visiting place and a beautiful park located near to the Village Malpur Rawal Lake, on Murree Road in Islamabad. In this park, there is also a world’s largest birdcage. If you are in Islamabad & need to take your family outside to a decent and beautiful place, this is it.

Lake View Park is the best place to visit with family. Bird zoo has a variety of birds from all over the world, Play area for kids is available. The lake itself is relatively clean. The weather of Islamabad is an added bonus. It just adds more beauty to the world second most beautiful capital.

Such a wide and green park with so much fun activities to do like boating, Go-karting etc. Best place for doing morning exercise and jogging. And this park has such a breathtaking view at night.

5 – Margalla Hills:

The Margalla Hills is a hill range which is part of the Himalayan foothills located within the Margalla Hills National Park, north of Islamabad, Pakistan. And it has an area of 1205 hectares. It’s an excellent destination for hiking with a great restaurant on the top. Absolutely worth to climb up for the view. A wonderful place in capital Islamabad.

This landscape makes the capital unique in the world which provides a good hilly area for hiking, tracking, and camping. Hills are full of natural beauties and full of wildlife. Many species of birds can be observed here. Monkies, leopards, wild bores and different species of pheasants can be observed in the tracks.

Deers, bears, snow leopards can also be seen here. Daman-e-Koh, Islamabad national park and zoo are also present in this range of hills. These hills having different materials suppliers from which they can supply crush of limestone to all over Islamabad for construction purposes.
